The farm: country jeweler

In 2018, my wife and I bought a 14 acre property in N. County San Diego that I’ve hoped is my forever home. There’s 3000ft2 of out buildings that is in a long process of becoming my dream art studio.

There’s a Buddhist precept of right occupation. We are a TINY producer of commercial avocados but somehow tending to land in a responsible way and growing food while building soil and sequestering carbon while I burn things to make my metal art seems like a balance to me.

We have 32 varieties of tree fruit, vegetable gardens, chickens, ducks and are expanding our little farm in inspiring ways often.

Jewelry visits to the farm are by appointment, and typically include a bag of whatever fruit is in season. Thankfully, in Southern California, something is always in season.
