Gibeon meteorite is cut from a solid chink and inlaid into a 316L stainless steel hand turned on our lathe here in the United States, etched for maximum crystalline texture and the ring is polished to a mirror shine. The lines in a meteorite are called Widmanstätten pattern named for Alois von Widmanstätten, a Viennese scientist who discovered it in 1808. Also notable about this meteorite is that King Tut was buried with a dagger inside his sarcophagus from this exact meteorite fall. At this time in history, no one had figured out how to smelt iron as it was still the bronze age and metallic iron only existed on the planet that fell from space.
